Equipe Spectrométries Appliquées à la Caractérisation Structurale (SACS)
The main challenge of my research is to achieve de novo structural determination of powdered organic (i.e., poly-crystalline) compounds at natural abundance using solid state NMR and Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) techniques. As a postdoctoral researcher, my responsibility is to find the suitable experiments for efficient recoupling of homo-nuclear dipolar couplings. The primary interest lies in extracting the long-range homo-nuclear dipolar couplings and crystal parameters to obtain structural constraints on solid materials that are difficult to characterize using traditional diffraction techniques.
