The Explore Festival returns to Marseille from June 10 to 15 for its second edition.

The second edition of the Explore Festival—co-organized by Aix-Marseille University and CNRS Provence et Corse, in partnership with Inserm—features dozens of fun and interactive scientific activities open to everyone through Sunday. Hervé Clavier and Eric Besson will present their ANR-funded research to the general public at various locations throughout the city.

This free, festive, and inclusive event is co-organized by Aix-Marseille University and the CNRS Provence and Corsica delegation, in partnership with Inserm and with support from the French National Research Agency (ANR). It offers Marseillais residents an opportunity to discover research projects funded by the ANR.

For six days, around fifteen iconic locations across the city will be transformed into open-air laboratories. More than fifty scientists will engage with the public to share their work through interactive experiments, unusual activities, screenings, and many other formats.

This year, the “Science Bike”—a science outreach activity specially designed for young audiences—will be roaming the city starting on June 4!
