Enantioselective radical reactions have long been considered as rather limited for efficient stereocontrol, but recent developments have upturned this common belief. A spectacular advance in the development of catalyzed enantioselective radical reactions has been seen. Important innovations in the use of different chiral organocatalysts and transition-metal catalysts have been the major contributors in the development of enantioselective radical reactions.
